This is the tale of Jasmine K Jelly
Who has the sweetest face and a little round belly
In the middle of her belly was a dent
Which tickling fingers did frequent
For Jasmine Jelly was a pickle
And offered her belly for a tickle
Oh Miss Jasmine, Jasmine Jelly
What is this dent in the midist of your belly?

One day her Dad said ‘What is this stuff?’
It turned out to be a ball of blue fluff!
Now Jasmine Jelly liked her blue fuzz
And it seemed to give her Dad a bit of a buzz
But Sarah her Mother said ‘its not fair
That my beautiful child is covered with hair!’

As time went on fuzz grew from her toes
Not to mention that it hung from her nose
Where mixed with jam and bacon and honey
It began to make Jasmine look a bit funny

Never mind said her Dad, when I get my wages
I’ll take a good look through the Yellow Pages
I’ll do my best to find or locate
A chap I knew who was once my mate
I’m sure he used to runa fuzz defluffing Co
He’s bound to solve the problem in a mo!

When told of the urgency of the poor child
Who was rapidly becoming more defiled
Dad’s friend turned up with a large bag of tricks
And said not to worry the blue fluff they could fix
But told Jasmine’s Mum they would need Max Factor
To cover the scars where they had hacked her

Sarah well frightened called out for grandad Harry
Who said ‘don’t you worry. I can easily carry
Little Jasmine to hospital Outpatients, where in turn
They will carefully cauterise and burn
The offedning fluff from off her tum
Has she got blu fluff upon her bum?’

They fixed Jasmine Jelly to the kitchen table
And said they would work as quick as they were able
They opended up their big bag of tricks
A vacuum pack, road scarrer and assorted picks

‘No no’, cried Sue with a hysterical laugh
‘All the poor child needs is a good hot bath!’
Immerse the child right up to her neck
And the problem will be solved in a sec
Let little Jasmine swoosh, frolick and soak
And with the aid of the well directed poke
The offedning fluff will do down the drain
And with luck will never be seen again

Now keep the child away from the sitting room rug
From whence comes the source of this terrible fluff!
You might find that a good vacuum Hoover
Is a most excellent blue fluff remover!
And used twice daily will prevent
A reoccurance of this worrying event
It is now her parents firm ambition
To see Jasmine returned to pristine condition
